How we handle personal data and cookies on bowervault.co.uk, and the rights you have over your own data.

Who we are
BowerVault ("we") is a trading name of Tinybox Creative Ltd, which operates bowervault.co.uk. Company No. 15747529, VAT No. GB470161908, registered office at Henleaze House Business Centre, 13 Harbury Road, Henleaze, Bristol, UK, BS9 4PN.
What this covers
This policy covers bowervault.co.uk: what we collect when you browse the site or get in touch, and how we use it. If you're a subscriber and want to know how we handle your own website visitors' data when they use a BowerVault tool, see our Data Processing Agreement.
Information we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name, profession, and whatever you tell us about your enquiry.
We also collect standard technical information when you browse the site, such as your browser type and IP address, through our hosting provider's server logs.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: responding to people who contact us, and keeping the site running properly.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file saved to your device when you visit a website. We use them to run this site properly, understand how it's used, and remember your preferences.
When you first visit bowervault.co.uk, a banner asks you to accept, reject, or choose which categories of cookie you're happy with. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and can't be switched off. Every other category, such as analytics or functional cookies, is only set once you've given consent.
You can review or change your choice at any time:
The table below lists every cookie currently in use on this site, grouped by category, and is kept up to date automatically.
We use CookieYes to run this consent banner and remember your choices. CookieYes itself sets a cookie to store your preference, listed in the table above as a necessary cookie. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, which sets the _ga cookies listed in the table.
One page on this site also embeds a live demo of our product from app.bowervault.co.uk. That's a different part of BowerVault, and it may use cookies to operate, the same as any web application does.
You can also block or delete cookies directly through your browser:

- Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/sfri11471
- Firefox: support.mozilla.org/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox
- Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge/delete-cookies-in-microsoft-edge
If you use a different browser, check its own support documentation for how to manage cookies. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you block or delete them.
Sharing your information
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run our business, and only as far as they need it to provide that service:
- Brevo, to send enquiry emails and manage our mailing list.
- Vercel, to host this site.
- Cloudflare, for DNS and to protect the site and its contact form from bots and abuse.
- Google, for Analytics (with your consent, see Cookies above) and for the web fonts this site uses.
- CookieYes, to run the consent banner and keep a record of your cookie choices.
International transfers
Some of the service providers above may process data outside the UK, including in the US. Where that happens, we only use providers who put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or a UK adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and keep a record of the conversation, then delete them. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' own retention settings, which you can read about in Google's own documentation.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, or ask for a copy of it. Email us and we'll action it.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before you do.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if how we handle data changes, and update the date at the top.
